About Sophie
I am an integratively trained counsellor which means that I have the knowledge, theory and experience to adapt the way in which we work together to provide you with tailored therapy that can really help.
My approach is strongly underpinned by the Humanistic model that sees the importance of our relationship in bringing about positive change for you. My belief is that you hold the answers and the ability to have a sustained and fulfilled life and with my support we can achieve this together. My role is to help you to explore, make sense of and understand any presenting difficulties, feelings or negative thoughts. Depending on your needs and wishes, our sessions together will combine meaningful therapeutic conversations alongside tools and techniques to equip you going forward.
“I have been hugely impressed with the enormous empathy and compassion that she has always demonstrated in her interactions. Furthermore, she is extremely professional and reliable at all times. I have no doubt whatsoever that these skills make her extremely suited to work of a counselling nature, and I would recommend her without hesitation.
